Purpose of this assignment:
To think through the unique perspectives of The One Minute Salesperson. Goals are important in business. But Purpose and being Intentional in everything yo do, even the little things, is equally as critical to success. The first part of the book introduces you to the need to have the right perspective, the right focus.
Assignment Instructions:
The link below will take you to a presentation with linked in audio segments from The One Minute Salesperson audiobook. Each team member should listen, hint: reading along with the closed captioning (CC) helps, and take notes on the key things you hear. There are a couple of summary slides at the end.
After everyone has viewed the presentation, then schedule a Google Hangout session with your team. Each team member should offer their perspective of this first part of the book. Do you agree? If not, ok, but then why not? Each of you should share a personal experience when you may have applied these concepts (it doesn’t have to be about selling). Perhaps for others, you will remember a time when you had a different focus, were driven by something else, and recall the results.
Create a Google Doc so that all team members can contribute, comment, collaborate at any time. Proofread the final document before you you save your final work as a Word document (.doc). Do not save as a .pages or .pdf file, nor provide a link to the Google Doc (which is only to be used to create your working draft). As for every course assignment, make sure you have an Introduction paragraph explaining your approach to the prompt, and then a Conclusion paragraph that ties it all together.

In addition to the above, now address the following questions, single-spaced, minimum of two pages total.
1. Each team member provides an example of a personal Goal and Purpose.
2. Explain the Wonderful Paradox.
