PROJECT: The research essay will analyze ONE (1) approved documentary (see list below), utilizing research (i.e., journal articles) and outside sources (i.e., film, textbook, etc.). The essay may focus on a scene/section/subject/ etc. or the entire piece’s context. The essay must utilize research (i.e., journal articles) and outside sources (i.e., film, textbook, etc.). A minimum of SIX (6) sources is required. Be sure to follow the Guidelines and Grading Rubric. to complete the following assignment. And finally, word count is (still) 2000-2500 words, not including references** See the syllabus regarding the Research/Final Essay due date. The submission must follow all assignment guidelines. I encourage you all to start your papers sooner rather than later. This is a research-based essay, so be sure to give yourself adequate time to complete the assignment. DO NOT OFFER A SUMMARY OF THE FILM/DOCUMENTARY.
