The paper is written BUT this is what needs to be fixed:
1. Many of the references cited in the literature review are dated, going back to the 1980s and 1990s. Much research has been done on immersion language learning (study abroad and stateside) since.
2. Many of the references cited in the References section are not cited in the body of the text (e.g., Nunan 1991, Magilyv and Thomas 2009, Schneider 2011, Spolsky et al. 1973, Zouhir 2010, Zouhir 2013) and others which are cited in the body of the text do not have corresponding entries in the References section (e.g., Nunan 1989, Cummins 1998, Genesee 1985) .
3. There is no clear theoretical framework where predictions are generated, and the findings are tied to such a framework and discussed accordingly in a discussion section. The latter is completely missing.
4. Please add the purpose and a novelty of the results to the abstract
(2 sentences).
2. Add 3-5 research hypotheses and show in the RESULTS section how they
are tested and proven.
5. Authors should explain better the criteria for selecting the research
object and the limitations of the application of the results obtained
should be specified.
6. Authors should explain the academic contribution of the work
developed (150 words in conclusion). Highlighting what is
innovative/original about the existing literature.
This paper is novel because it seeks to contribute to the current debate
in the literature…..The scientific novelty of the article also
consists of a conducted large-scale study describing the author’s
theoretical and practical prerequisites……..
