Learning Goal: I’m working on a health & medical question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.Given the challenges in recruitment and retention discussed by Finkler, Jones & Kovner (2013), what structures and processes would you put in place for recruiting and retaining exemplary RNs in the primary care setting? Address how you would a) identify nurses capable of effective care coordination and teamwork, b) train nurses in complex patient coordination, management and leadership, and c) support the development and implementation of protocols to manage chronic disease.
