Learning Goal: I’m working on a environmental science writing question and need support to help me learn.At least 4 themes or tensions have been central to the discussions we have been having throughout the term.They are: Agency and citizenship.
Mainstreaming or keeping environmentalism radical (prop or corrective).
Stories matter/world views matter.
Environmentalism as part of the forces of freedom or the forces of tyranny.
Choose at least one of these themes to help you answer one of the following two questions.Only answer one. Your answer should include an introduction, a conclusion, and should be between 6 and 8 pages (not including bibliography).Approximately 1500 – 2000 words.Refer to/reference a minimum of 3 class readings from the second half of term in your answer.Outside sources can (and should also) be used. Choose a contemporary environmental issue/action and use Chaia Heller’s method of creative resistance to research and plan out a reconstructive and illustrative response that will help ensure the action does not end at the critical stage.
