Learning Goal: I’m working on a business case study and need a sample draft to help me learn.Case History: Look for critical incidents in company growth and determine why they are important or relevant.
Background of Case: Strengths and Weaknesses: Identify the company’s internal strengths and weaknesses, and how they relate to the company’s value function. Opportunities and Threats: Identify the internal and external opportunities and threats that exist in the company’s environment and analyze them using the Competitive Forces Model, SWOT, Value Chain, lifecycle model. And other models/tools you have learned in class.
Functional-Level Strategy: Are the actions and goals assigned to various departments that support your business level strategy and corporate level strategy. These strategies specify the outcomes you want to see achieved from the daily operations of specific departments (or functions) of your business. You have learned internal analysis tools and strategies to diagnose these issues such as VRIO and value-chain analysis to increase reliability, customer-responsiveness, efficiency and innovation. To create competitive advantage.
