You will write a 2-3 page paper (typed, double-spaced) responding to the following prompt.
** Tell a story of ONE experience you have had, and compare that experience to at least 2 pieces from the chapter giving specific details and quotations from the literature to illustrate or support your ideas. (Explain what the pieces are about and how they relate to your experience.)**
You should present your ideas with an introduction and conclusion with two or three points of comparison/contrast between your experience and the situation/feelings described in the pieces.
Make sure you use ONLY works in the chapter in your comparison.
I do not want you to do any research for this assignment. Except for quotes from the literature, all words and ideas in the essay should be your own. I am not looking for deep, literary analysis. I simply want to see if you understood the pieces we read and if you can relate your own experiences and feelings to those pieces.
