For this assignment, you will reflect upon that plan and apply material from this week’s Reading and Resources to explain how you might enhance your New Teacher Induction Program. This assignment will consist of three steps:
Step 1.  First read Dr. Wong’s chapter, New Teacher Induction: The Foundation for Comprehensive, Coherent, and Sustainable Professional Development from Teacher Mentoring and Induction: The State of the Art and Beyond which is located in this week’s Reading and Resources.

Step 2. Review your school’s or district’s New Teacher Induction Program 
Step 3. Using this Local New Teacher Induction Program Analysis Chart, reflect upon your school’s/district’s new teacher induction plan. For each strategy listed, describe the application of how it takes place in your new teacher induction program. Then, reflect and describe each strategy’s effectiveness. In the last column, explain how you might enhance the strategy’s effectiveness by applying material from Dr. Wong’s chapter, New Teacher Induction: The Foundation for Comprehensive, Coherent, and Sustainable Professional Development.

Your submission for this assignment will be your completed Local New Teacher Induction Program Analysis Chart. A title page is not required.
