I would like you to write about a particular technology that you find interesting or that is important to you. Name the technology, and talk about why you chose it. Why do you love that technology or why is it important to you.
I’d like you to think about the values that are built in to a particular technology. Think about who can use it easily, who it might be hard for, what kinds of situations it makes easier or harder, what sort of society (laws, rules, power, etc.) is required for that technology to be produced and to operate. Does the technology promote hierarchical relationships or non-hierarchical relationships?
