The purpose of this assignment is to perform a review of scholarly information on a selected Social Determinant of Health (SDOH) and describe both the challenges that exist for clients (i.e., patients, families, or communities) as well as the implications for nursing practice when addressing these challenges
In the Introduction, clearly describe a SDOH and explain its relevance to professional nursing with clients (i.e., patients, families, or communities). Develop and articulate a clear thesis statement to explore within the paper, followed by a brief overview of your paper’s contents.
In the body of the paper, (a) identify the challenges that clients and nurses face in Canada in the situations or conditions associated with your chosen social determinant of health; and (b) discuss the role of the nurse in addressing these challenges and improving quality and safety of care.
In the Conclusion, provide a clear and concise summary of your findings and implications as they relate to the thesis statement you outlined in the introduction of the paper.
