This is a fictional research paper outline to show how psychological research works, a hypothesis is put forth and there are 11 questions to answer so it would be a breeze for someone who has done psychological research work before. I have attached an example. You can pick your own topic within the four possibilities but it needs to be approved by my teacher before proceeding . There are 4 themes to choose from: Creativity, risk taking, decision making and moral reasoning. First, you choose one of the themes then answer the following 11 questions : 1) What is your chosen theme? 1 sentence 2) What is your problem statement ? 1 Sentence in the form of a question 3) Construct a table of contents to prepare your review of questions for your tutored project by giving titles and subtitles to your different parts. You need 2 main parts (the first is the dependent variable and the second is your independent variable). The sub-sections correspond to the notions you will have to address in the review of questions 4) Make a first hypothesis 5) Give 1 or 2 scientific arguments that allow you to suggest this hypothesis. 10 lines approximately 6) Make a second hypothesis 7) Give 1 or 2 arguments that allow you to propose this second hypothesis. 10 lines approximately 8) Describe your methodology (participants, age, material, procedure…). I must be able to judge from these elements the feasibility of your method. So be precise 9) Determine your independent variables (number of modalities to be specified) and dependent variables 10) Give the beginning of a bibliography according to APA standards.
