For this submission, you will be asked to observe a free play of an 18-month old infant and note down the precursors of Theory of Mind; the specific social-communicative behaviours that occurred during the period of an observation. You will find the scoring checklist and the definitions of the specific behaviours on Moodle, we would like to you focus on in the Theory of Mind materials. We will also ask you to choose one of the precursors of ToM that you observed and write a short description of the event (or events) in which you observed this behaviour and the evaluation of how this behaviour can contribute to the development of theory of mind. Format 250-300 word observation supporting statement, not including references. In your statement include: Correct description of the observed behaviour An evaluation of how this behaviour can contribute to the development of the theory of mind Please provide at least 1 piece of empirical evidence from a peer-reviewed study in support of your statement.
