For this assignment, you’ll be outlining the entire speech on the attached document at the bottom and uploading it. I’ve also created and uploaded my own so you can see how it should be done.
This speech needs to be very well-organized according to what’s on this document.
*NOTE*: do not do any research for this. Use only the information that you have in your brain.
Please keep in mind that you will not be reading from this document when you present next week. You’ll use index cards with only the main ideas on them and use them to guide you along.
It will be 70% eye contact with the camera / audience and only 30% glancing at your index cards to keep you on track.
Keep in mind: your mission is to make the audience care and convince them to watch the movie or see the book. All the reasons you give in this outline need to be relevant to the audience, not only a ‘shallow’ plot summary. What will the audience gain from reading the book or seeing the movie? How will this book or movie enhance their lives? What life lessons will they learn from the book or movie?
