For this assignment you are to look at and then show/explain the changing demographics of Texas for the past 50+ years (1960 to the present) . Specifically, but not limited to the following information:
-Race/Ethnicity
-Gender
-Age
-Political Affiliation
-Changing economic opportunities (types of jobs available)
-Education stats.
Make sure that you ‘measure’ these stats at 10 year interval marks. Make sure that you do a 2-3 paragraph write up of what you see in your findings. How have these changes shaped Texas Government? How have these changes shaped Texas economy? Cite your sources.
Texas has truly changed and much of why we are the way we are is because of these changes.
