Evaluation of Research Section (This is a new section that has not already been completed)
In the Evaluation of Research Section you are asked to identify performance standards and evaluate student performance. This section can be a challenge for most students so I wanted to further explain using the mentor scenario as an example-
For the Performance Standards, think about what would be the major components of a mentor program that should be included based on your research. For the Student Performance, how would a mentor program specifically impact student performance. For the Cultural Challenge component, what do you perceive as cultural challenges for implementing a mentor program. For each of these sections please make sure to use in-text citations to support your conclusions with research.
Evaluation of the Application of Research to Educational Practice: After you have completed your literature review, consider how the research could be
interpreted and applied in relation to the research question you defined in your selected scenario.
A. Performance Standards: Identify relevant performance standards you would address with the diverse learners in the selected scenario.
B. Student Performance: Provide suggestions to improve student performance based on research literature findings about the effectiveness of
instructional strategies.
C. Cultural Challenges: Identify the possible cultural challenges to the implementation of the selected instructional strategies.
