Select two of the works read in class this semester to compare and contrast OBJECTIVELY
Compare and contrast the elements of rhetoric ONLY
Write a 1200 word comparison essay on which two works read best incorporates ethos, logos and pathos the best.
Use proper MLA citation in text. There is no need for a works cited page because everyone is using the same book.
Similarity index is 0-25% only. Anything higher than this will receive a poor grade.
You must remain completely objective for this essay. That means, using 3rd person only. For the first two essays, you have been given an outline. However, for this last essay, you will not be given an outline and you must create your own. The best way to approach this essay is to pick the pieces that you liked the best and least. Then create a chart with the rhetorical triangle. Once you do so, find evidence from each work that compares and contrasts the methods of appeal.
