FINAL PAPER:
There are six steps in the final paper and presentation process. They are all required. Only the final paper and Powerpoint will be graded. You will have opportunities for writing drafts and rewriting.
Part I. Film
A one sentence description of the French or Francophone (French-speaking) film or streaming television program you have selected for your final paper and presentation. The film or television program does not have to be directed by a Francophone filmmaker, but must focus on images of women in the French-speaking world. It cannot be a film assigned for the class, however a comparison between a new film and one from the class is fine.
Two points to keep in mind: 1) you are writing a 3 page essay, and will develop a Powerpoint presentation . 2) Choose a film or streaming television program and topic that interest you. Due by Friday, October 29 at 11:59 pm.
In order to select a film or program, you may wish to contact our course’s librarian: Sarah Burns-Feyl, at sburnsfeyl@pace.edu. You may also review the titles in the Criterion collection at https://www.criterion.com/shop, as well as on the Pace Library’s Kanopy and Swank titles at https://libguides.pace.edu/pace-digital-campus. You are also free to do your own research to find something that is of interest to you.
