Basic Guidelines:
CapiTaliZAtion matters! If I ask which customer has the largest delinquent balance and you determine that “Zimmy Zim” has the largest delinquent balance, then “Zimmy Zim” is the correct answer. “Zimmy zim”, “zimmy zim”, or “zimmy Zim” are all incorrect.
Spelling matters! If I ask which customer has the largest delinquent balance and you determine that “Zimmy Zim” has the largest delinquent balance, then “Zimmy Zim” is the correct answer. “Zimy Zim”, “Zimmy Zin”, or “Zimmie Zim” are all incorrect.
If your answer is in dollars, you MUST put the dollar sign in your answer. $4,000 is correct. 4,000 is incorrect.
If your answer is in dollars, DO NOT include any cents values. If Tableau shows you $2,119.56 then only enter $2,119.
If your answer is in dollars, DO NOT round any cents values. If Tableau shows you $2,119.56 then only enter $2,119. Recall in grade school, your teacher would have told you to round that 56 cents up to the next dollar thereby making the answer $2,120. DO NOT round cents values, just drop them.
If your answer is numeric, you MUST use commas to separate your thousands, million, and billions. If you determine 787,149 cans of Beijing Corn were sold in May, then 787,149 is correct. 787149 is incorrect. For our European friends, remember here in ‘Murica we use commas where you would use a decimal.
If I ask for a screen shot, make sure your image is showing in the submission box. I am not going to download Word documents, Adobe documents, or image files. DO NOT submit HEIC files Apple peeps.
If I ask for a screen shot, make sure your name is showing in the screen shot. The easiest way to do this is to open Word, type you name on a document, and position it so I can see your image AND your name. An example of this follows.
If I ask for a screen shot, make sure your image is legible.
