Assessment Description
Student affairs personnel must have an ability to identify and analyze the needs of students from physical, cognitive, socioemotional, and spiritual developmental domains. Student affairs professionals must be mindful of these domains, as each are directly related to student success.
In order to promote student well-being on your campus, create a tri-fold brochure to distribute to students.
Include the following:
Explanation of the four domains associated with student needs: physical, cognitive, socioemotional, and spiritual
Description of how each developmental domain supports students in reaching their personal potential
Explanation of how balance in the four domains enhances students’ well-being
At least 2-3 resources found on-campus that support the domains
At minimum 2-3 outside resources available to students to support each domain
The brochure should include graphics that are relevant to the content, be visually appealing, and use space appropriately.
