1. The purpose of this discussion is to analyze and discuss the primary sources (only the sources that uploaded, NO OUTSIDE SOURCES)
2. You have two strategies when writing this post:
a. Focus on a single source and analyze it.  Do not write a summary or a book review.  Refer to the sheet “Reading Primary Sources” for the sorts of questions that will help you do better analysis.  Read #7 under “basic questions” very carefully. 
b. Analyze one theme from 2-3 sources.  Mine the sources to delve into a particular issue, theme, event, etc. that you are interested in.  Everything in the sources that doesn’t relate to your theme, ignore.  Refer to the sheet “Reading Primary Sources”, “Additional questions” #2-4, 6 for more specifics.  Make sure you read #7 under “basic questions” very carefully. 
3. Format: start your post with an underlined bolded heading listing the primary source(s) your post will address
