Follow the template given. It will be addressed to the Department of State. Your job will be to write the three recommendations, background, and resource implications. I already read through tons of articles and have a document full of quotes to use. The three recommendations I want to be made are to counter russian propoganda and ideological influences, support Ukraine′s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and to prioritize strategic diplomacy aimed at consolidating international support for Ukraine and isolating Russia diplomatically and economically. You can narrow them down even more if needed to make it more realistic.
the topic is the effects of economic sanctions on Venezuela and Iran and how their different features shape their responses — everything is written and it is just extensive editing and improving it I would say one week at most 10 days

These are other written comments by my other advisor:(I have 2 supervisors for this work): Theory＝ There is no need for a grand theory for this particular work, rather I need to conceptualise it in terms of interdependence vulnerability (which the sanctions address) – meaning this should replace the realism part that we have now as it is not applicable (around 2/3pages). Hence we need to explain what sanctions against Iran and Venezuela are imposed specifically and what specific vulnerabilities they target for each case (this needs to be conceptualised with interdependence vulnerabilities).
-explain they sanctions target interdependent exchange (ex:export and imports)
-vulnerabilities of state are tied to costs that they have to endure due to the sanctions and those vulnerabilities are relations specific (make this connection)
2. Cases: keep the economic information it is good analysis; the structure for the cases should be like this:
• political context half a page max.
•why sanctions ? -˃ which sanctions and what’s the intent behind them for each case?
•effects/costs for Venezuela and Iran and what impact do they have?(measure it economically/with data)
•why at this specific level? (Why Iran and Venezuela?) — Sanctions do try to incentivise change of behaviour (ideally), however if it’s a question of survival ＝˃ no matter how expensive one makes something, countries still will find a way around it (this is interdependence sensitivity, and should be addressed in the conclusion, connecting it back to the point that Venezuela and Iran are able to withstand sanctions is because it concerns interdependence sensitivity and not vulnerability)
