The yellow highlighted subtopics on the order instructions are what need to be done. Please read them carefully. Such a formating, APA guidelines. I will also include the APA Instructions.
I will also link my Ryerson username and password for the course incase you need too access any of the information that you need for this report. Please do apply topics applied and taught in class and relate it to the report. Once you log in click on where it says “Your courses in D2L brightspace” to get to where you can access the course.
I will also attach the link of the article you need to use to do this book report on and make sure to cite that in APA format.
Link to article for report:
please make sure to read where it takes you to get the gist of it and then if you go to the bottom right it will have these links, click on all these links to read the full report and appendices in order to do this report. Down below are the links that are on the bottom right of the page so you know which ones I am talking about. So please go through these links.
“View full report and recommendations”
“Appendix A: Task Force Terms of Reference, opens in new window”
“Appendix B: What we learned: Engagement overview and analysis report”
“Appendix C: External Scan”
“Appendix D: Life and legacy of Egerton Ryerson”
“Appendix E: Task Force reviewed documents, videos, podcasts and media publications”
Also, on the last page before the citations should be an APPENDIX talking about HR strategies and what HR strategies you would undertake. So the Appendix should be put before the citations and that could even be in point form. So the third page should be the appendix and then the references. I am paying for 3 pages of content so title page and references should make it 5 pages in total
Using this week’s readings, consider the challenges in recruiting and selecting the best candidates for Public Organization X. Then, choose an organization to examine and apply this week’s concepts. Pick any public organization of your choice for this assignment, but choose wisely and make sure the information you are seeking is readily available.
Give a brief background on your selected organization and its employees, and then produce an in-depth guideline on recruitment and selection best practices for yourself to use when you take over as Director of Personnel Administration of Organization X at the end of your training. You may assume the organization you choose to examine is in the same field as Organization X. This is a great practice, especially since sometimes you get the best ideas from outside research! Just remember, your document should contain best practices specifically related to recruiting and candidate selection.
Tip: It is recommended that you prepare this information in the form of a chart(s) for quick reference rather than in a typical essay form.
Be sure to include how different departments or positions may need different strategies for recruitment (e.g., pre-employment screenings) and selection (e.g., complying with the Civil Rights Act). You may present the best practices themselves in the form of an outline or list within the chart.
3 to 5 pages.
In constructing your paper, please address the questions below. Make sure you synthesize course material into your paper (information from the eText and additional resources is expected).
Identify yourself and your family in respect to your culture/ethnicity, and be as specific as possible. For example, South Korean rather than Asian; or Cuban rather than Latino.
Discuss the impact of your ethnic identity on your daily life and your development as a person. Discuss times when your ethnicity became a source of pride and times when it may have been a challenge?
Discuss how your ethnicity plays out in your work life?
How do your cultural experiences relate to specific topics and concepts discussed in the chapter and additional resources?
How would you create a workplace training program that enhances sensitivity to and acceptance of cultural diversity? What would it look like? Be specific.

You are the owner/operator of a large pest extermination business in a major metropolitan area. Your workforce is very diverse. You are classified as a federal contractor, and maintain an affirmative action plan.
For administrative work, you have two additional employees. One of these employees handles your affirmative action plan.
A couple days ago, you were at a meeting and talked briefly with an employee from the Department of Homeland Security. This person told you that there was going to be a lot of site visits and audits in the next several months for businesses like yours.
You immediately asked your administrative employee that handles your affirmative action plan if your plan was in good shape. Your employee stated “I’m guessing so”. You were not happy with that answer.
This morning, you received a letter from the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs that your business has been selected for a full desk audit in relation to your affirmative action plan. You must now decide what to do.
To begin your work on this situation, you decide to formulate your thoughts using the IRAC Method.
Your IRAC should be at least 500 words in length, and cover any applicable issues you think apply.

Effective academic and research writing requires a third-person voice. This SLP will be written in the third person. Do not use any quotations. Refer to yourself in third person as “participant,” or you can write about what the “player” will do, rather than saying “I” and “we.” Since you are engaging in research, be sure to cite and reference the sources in APA format. NOTE: Failure to use research with accompanying citations to support content will result in reduced scoring “Level 2-Developing” for Assignment-Driven Criteria, Critical Thinking, and Assignment Organization and Quality of References on the grading rubric.
