3. Explore the literature (20 points). Briefly describe at least one evaluation of a similar program to yours based on a literature search. Use the literature to give you ideas for your own evaluation plan and how to set it up or what to measure. One of the first steps in planning an evaluation is to consult the literature (including peer-reviewed journals, professional journals for that field, and even the internet in general).
Look for evaluations of programs similar to yours. You may not be able to find your exact program, but you should be able to find a program that has similar goals and outcomes or target audience. Possible sources:

Think tanks or government agencies published studies on the need your program addresses
Sector-specific journals that relate to your program
