These elements may be related to products, services, target market, consumer preferences, competition, personnel, resources, supply chain, financing, advertising, or other areas of interest. However, at least one of these elements should be related to a product or service that your organization is planning to offer.

2.    Establish the forecasting method (from readings). Decide on the balance between subjective and objective data and look for trends and seasonality.
3.    Forecast future demand using a forecasting method.
4.    Make decisions based on step 3.

Title page/cover sheet (APA): Evaluation Plan for [Program Name], Prepared by [your name], date.
Professionalism/writing/appearance (10 points)  Followed outline below; free of spelling or grammatical errors; concise writing with no redundancy and no wordiness; headings used; references on separate page at end of document; Appendix on separate page following references.
1. Background (20 points) (ATTACHED (Program Evaluation ))
Briefly describe the community problem or need relating to your program’s work, i.e. the situation your program addresses. Use one or two literature sources of credible information about the need that your program addresses (in a paragraph or two)
Program name and mission. Overview the program with a few sentences. Whom does it serve, what’s its mission? Be very brief here – in the next section you will describe the program more thoroughly.
Purpose of the evaluation. Write a paragraph explaining the overarching purpose for evaluating this program. What do you hope to learn about the program?  Why is the evaluation being done?  What do key stakeholders or partners who implement the program hope to learn about it?
2.  Program Description (20 points). Use writing from your previous program choice assignment if you can. This section must align closely with the logic model you will share in Appendix 1.
Target audience (individuals or environmental location/area of need). Describe the program’s target audience(s) or area of focus:  whom/what does the program target/serve? Share any other information – age, demographics, medical condition, etc.
Program mission/goals. Explain the program’s mission or broad goals (not the organization’s, but the program’s). Ultimately, what is the program trying to accomplish?
Inputs/Resources/Partners.  How many/which type of staff and volunteers are involved? Where is the program located, and what facilities does it have? What is the overall budget for the program?  List other organizations that partner with your program to deliver the program (not funders).
Services or activities. Describe the program’s services/activities for the target audience. Describe the main activities that take place to deliver the program: its components service that are offered as a part of the program.
Outputs-Participation. Outputs include counts of participants served and the units of service activities offered (e.g. # of attendees or # of classes). Consider this section as performance management data about whom the program is reaching. Identify 4 important things you want to track about who’s using the program or how many activities are occurring and for each, explain why that data is important, or what it will tell you. Don’t confuse this with outcomes (next).
Outcomes. The logic model (Appendix 1) will show an array of short, medium, and long term outcomes of the program. Here, narrow your focus to the most important ones. List and explain the 5-6 important outcomes of the program.
3. Explore the literature (20 points). Briefly describe at least one evaluation of a similar program to yours based on a literature search. Use the literature to give you ideas for your own evaluation plan and how to set it up or what to measure. One of the first steps in planning an evaluation is to consult the literature (including peer-reviewed journals, professional journals for that field, and even the internet in general).
Look for evaluations of programs similar to yours. You may not be able to find your exact program, but you should be able to find a program that has similar goals and outcomes or target audience. Possible sources:
National headquarters of your organization, or related organizations
Think tanks or government agencies published studies on the need your program addresses
Sector-specific journals that relate to your program
Evaluation websites that provide links to outcomes for your type of program.
When doing a general internet search, sometimes the phrase “____(your subject)+ measure” is helpful. For example, “child abuse + measure.”  Other keywords:  evaluation, outcome + your subject.
In one or two paragraphs, summarize any of the following: findings from a related evaluation study, outcomes that they measured, methods or survey tools they used, key findings that relate to your program. You should incorporate what you’ve learned into your own evaluation plan in one way or another.
4. (ATTACHED Logic Model) Appendix 1: Logic Model (20 points) Use the attached file — a blank logic model  Download blank logic model– to develop a complete logic model for your program with at least 3 entries per column, preferably more. Use the feedback from your classmates in the previous discussion to improve your work. Use the proper formatting for the outcome statements and arrange them in chains horizontally (use white space)
5. Appendix 2: Indicators to Measure (10 points)
Create a table with 2 columns and 7 rows. Row 1: headings.  Rows 2-7 enter a list of at least 6 aspects of the program’s performance you think should be measured to determine it’s effectiveness. These aspects can be chosen from among any logic model entries including inputs, activities, outputs, or outcomes. At least 3 of the chosen items should be OUTCOMES.
In column 2, specify an indicator or measure for each outcome/performance aspect – observable evidence of the thing listed in column 1.

All companies utilize global supply chain management strategy in one form or ano

All companies utilize global supply chain management strategy in one form or another. Some firms participate in global sourcing when they need to grow their supply bases, develop procurement options, or diversify their products and services portfolio through imports from foreign countries. Many successful companies are also looking to expand the market share for their products through exports sales or manufacture their products overseas and, as a result, formulate their global location plans. All these activities would not be possible without a strong global supply chain strategy. While international expansion creates competitive advantage and lucrative opportunities for any company, these activities also expose firms to additional risks, including international trade barriers, foreign currencies fluctuations, economic, political, and cultural differences, and multiple “red tapes” created by foreign governments, as you learned last week in Chapter 2. Chapter 11 this week adds to that knowledge. If not properly mitigated, these risks may significantly hinder the bottom line and the overall reputation of the company.
In your paper,
-Examine a company with a successful global supply chain strategy. First, provide basic background information about the company. Then, discuss the supply chain strategy this company utilizes in order to get their products or services distributed internationally.
-Describe the partners and how they help serve customers.
-Identify at least two risks discussed in your textbook, as applied to your selected company. Are there any risks involved in the company’s international operations? Briefly describe these risks, and explain how the company mitigates the risks in order to meet business demands.
-Summarize how the company manages customer satisfaction and profitability levels and ensures the effectiveness of their global supply chain strategy in terms of quality, time, and costs involved.
