Community Health Paper

The purpose of this paper is to learn how to assess a community and develop an intervention project to meet a need identified. Each student will complete this assessment and assignment independently. Develop a community-based education intervention to assist the population in achieving positive health outcomes. This intervention can be participating and presenting at a health fair, developing a pamphlet or other handout, holding a class, or writing an article for the local newspaper. Students will choose the intervention, using best practices and reliable sources of information. This paper should be 6-8 pages, not including the title page and the references page, and include 5-6 current peer-reviewed scholarly nursing journal articles as references. Follow APA 7th Ed. Format when writing, citing, and listing references.
