I would like to write a proposal at any of the university interest area in Finance, and the interest of the university is Business Finance
Research Group focuses on corporate finance
and governance in both public and private
companies, as well the roles of private equity
firms, banks and other financial
intermediaries. The group publishes on areas
such as financial misconduct, banking
regulation, entrepreneurial finance and the
impact of global crises on corporate finance.
Also, the supervisor interests lie in positive and capital
market-based accounting research with particular
focus on share-based compensations, fair value
accounting, accounting information for distressed
firms, employee ownership and financial reporting
during financial crises. He is also interested in topics
relating to accounting information quality, IFRS
adoption and corporate governance. The second supervisor terests include issues in development economics and finance. Currently, he undertakes research to overcome the obstacles of financial development with special emphasis on access to finance, bank and firm performance while using robust econometric techniques and large cross-country panel data. The research questions that he addresses are motivated by and engaged with contemporary policy issues. He is also interested in interdisciplinary research on the gender pay gap and equality in the workplace. but I would like a proposal that related in the university interest as they refused my last proposal it was about THE CONTRIBUTION OF TRADITIONAL FINANCE AND BEHAVIOURAL FINANCE MODELS IN SHAPING INVESTORS’ DECISIONS, and they didn’t like it because it doesn’t match with the university interests.
