Hi, I really need some help with my personal statement for my MA integrative counselling application. I really need to show off my counselling skills that I have learnt on my degree through workshops and through past employment as a Support Worker helping people with learning disabilities. I have just taken on a new role in November as a ‘Family Mentor’ working for a domestic abuse charity at a refuge and on the helplines, hence why I have no time for all this work! I have a lot to say and find it difficult to get it across concisely. I don’t have the 90 hours of counselling which is one of the requirements but my course leader has spoken to their course leader, and with my employment they think it will be fine I just need to showcase it in my personal statement.
