A research letter looking at the Graduate program and mandatory classes available and offered by HBCUs (Historically Black College Universities) in the MSW field (Masters Of Social Work) and how they align with todays modern issue and how these courses have to do specifically with race and social justice. For example Howard University, has a foundation course called Social Welfare and Policy Service I which specifically has to do with “specifically in relation to poverty, racism, and the needs of oppressed and marginalized populations from both a strengths and Black perspective using social policy frameworks and social work values and ethics.” Below is a link i found of the courses offered by Howard for their MSW Program https://socialwork.howard.edu/academics/msw-course-listing
