Before you can write your business,plan, and seek financial backing, you need a strong mission statement that reflects your program’s philosophy. Directions: Part 1: Write a brief mission statement for your center-based childcare program that states the following: 1. The purpose of the program 2. The values of the program 3. The goals of the program Part 2: Write an evaluation of your mission statement where you do the following: 1. Describe and justify how your mission statement shows your program to be inclusive of all children/families 2. Describe and justify how your mission statement shows your program to be of high quality. 3. Give evidence to support your views by including a citation from the chapter. Requirements: One-page double-spaced paper in 12-point font.
