Helping Turtles and More

For this Assignment, you will review an ethical dilemma. The citizens of South Texas have expressed that they are concerned about the mandatory use of the Turtle Excluder Device. Many in the community support the use of the Turtle Excluder Devices in order to protect the endangered sea turtle. The device is utilized to protect sea turtles from drowning. Many of your constituents are shrimpers who make their living in the shrimp industry. They have explained to you that they are losing money because the Turtle Excluder Devices can cause much of their shrimp catch to escape from the nets. You will respond to the situation in a formal communication addressing the concerns of multiple stakeholders. You will present a solid negotiated response taking into consideration the various concerns of each stakeholder. You will present your best decision regarding the ethical dilemma presented by each stakeholder using research to support your decision. Be sure to discuss at least three ethical dilemmas that would pertain to three different stakeholders within your paper.

The paper should be at least 6 – 7 pages, double spaced, in 12-point font (Arial, Courier, and Times New Roman are acceptable). Save your paper as a Word document and submit it to the Dropbox by the end of Unit 8.
