As mentioned in the video “Capitol and Capitol” and in this week’s reading: McCormick, Thomas J. “Clérisseau, Thomas Jefferson and the Virginia Capitol.” In Charles-Louis Clérisseau. Cambridge, MA: MIT Press, 1990, 191–9. (“Files”==>”For Feb 3”) it is mentioned that Clerisseau took inspiration from the Maison Carre when designing the Virginia State Capitol.
