The purpose of this assignment is to identify and critically evaluate a current issue in the criminal justice system.
Students will be required to submit a 1000 to 1500-word argumentative/persuasive essay , answering the following question:
″If you could make any single change in the criminal justice system to improve the practice of criminal justice in the United States, what would it be and why?”
The paper is to be submitted in APA format, without a table of contents or abstract, no larger than 12-point Arial, Courier, or Times New Roman font. The paper must cite at least 3 peer-reviewed academic sources beyond course readings. These sources must be peer reviewed and obtained through the Moreno Valley College Library databases. Internet resources, newspaper, magazine, or other non-peer-reviewed resources may be used, but do not count as peer-reviewed.
