Learning Goal: I’m working on a writing multi-part question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.you should write the reflective based on the file (I uploaded it)—————————————————————–Placement of project in SBAHC sultan bin Abdelaziz humanitarian cityProject title: Occupational Therapy Strategies for Occupational Performance Issues Experienced by Caregivers of Persons with Disabilitywe Research about the values and principles of SBAHC (Sultan Bin Abdelaziz Humanitarian City)we took a little tour inside the Stroke and TBI department trying to find project ideasWe asked the workers for any problems they have inside the citywe trying to select our populationWe observe different population trying to identify problems for each populationFinally, we decide that our targeted populations are caregivers as one of the therapists told us a story about a setter who committed suicide in one of the bathrooms in the City since they were taking care of their little brother and there was a huge emotional burden, this story motivated us and opened our eyes on the fact that this population is neglected by the communityIn the first visit: issues that needs to be addressed in the city were identified. In the second visit: primary information about the population such as room numbers, and the issue were gathered. In the third visit: group members developed interview questions in both English and Arabic. Then, they tried to obtain approval for recording and conducting the interview. Finally, in the fourth visit, team members plan to conduct the interview on the targeted population.In the first progress report, my team members were planning on conducting an interview with caregivers. Therefore, in the 6th week and the 7th week we were able to interview 5 paid and unpaid caregivers between the ages 18-45 and collect sufficient data about the targeted population for the project action plan (interview questions about ( Demographic questions-Lisure activites related questions-Productive activites related questions-Self-care activites related questions-Open questions about their suggestions and ideas and how they deal with caregiving burden). In the 8th week, data were analyzed, and the population needs were identified. These needs were well-illustrated by team members using the Person Environment Occupation (PEO) Model (refer to Appendix B). In the 9th week, team managers designed a logo for the project, identified population goals, environmental goals and established the deliverables. Then, in the same week, team members wrote a letter contained the following: 1) introduction about the issue 2) population needs 3) deliverables 4) the importance of the project to SBAHC. This letter was sent to Public Relations in SBAHC as it was suggested by The Patient Experience Department and the supervisors. However, up until the 11th week, there was no response from the public relations department. So, my team members discussed the project with other responsible people in SBAHC and it seemed that some of the deliverables are almost impossible to be implemented or approved.Most of the time the group managers were spent it in a hospital room ( the space of the room was very small)SBAHC is a large rehabilitation center with a myriad of different departments, therefore, the people responsible for the project deliverables are numerous, and hard to locate in such a short period of time. In other words, each deliverable requires different responsibilities, hence, different administrator. The solutions from group member was 1- Adjust the deliverables to be limited to a few administrators 2-Divide group members to be responsible for each deliverable in order to ease communication with the people responsible.
