Learning Goal: I’m working on a communications presentation and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.You will create a 15-20 slide research project by the end of this course that explores the way in which race and ethnicity get represented in a film and its historical context. You may choose to write about any race/ethnicity, but you need to ensure that you have a narrow enough topic that you aren’t making sweeping generalizations without grounding your research in historical particulars. One of the easiest ways to go about this is to choose a particular type of film OR a time period that you wish to explore.
