Post your opinion paper to this link. The due dates will depend on your group schedule. Papers are due the day before you present your topic. They can be turned in up to 11:59pm the day before. There is no late work accepted! Papers should be 3-5 pages long not including a cover sheet or a reference page. You can discuss the papers with your group, but the paper has to be done individually. Introduce various works of literature worthy of attention other than Western literature.
Develop knowledge and appreciation as to why certain texts were able to cross the boundary of language and become canons of World Literature.

The topic of the Assignment
Choose any literature and focus on a writer and his/her work and identify an area of interest, consider under-explored areas and address the area of concern and develop a research problem related to this issue and write a paper.
What are you expected to do?
Choose any literature example, Chinese, Japanese, French/ anything of your choice.
Choose a famous work from it.
Identify a research problem (Example: Representation of values and culture in the early Japanese literature works with a special focus on the work Kojiki)
Choose your topic———collect data from authentic sources—————begin writing———- organize your data————bibliography & final review
Provide an abstract of 100- 150 words, 4-5 keywords, an Introduction, a Literature Review, and a Research Methodology (methods you used in your research what you did and how you did it, allowing readers to evaluate the reliability and validity of your research), the result you proved at end and conclusion. Discussion 2 is based on content from “Sexual Violence and Rape Culture.”

First, explain why, in your opinion, so much media, including film and television, is devoted to the depiction of serial killers. Elaborate. Next, in your opinion, why have African American males become such prolific serial killers over the last 15 years? Elaborate and provide a convincing explanation to support your argument. Also, there are very few, if any, African American female serial killers? Why do you suppose this is, given the fact that there has been such a huge inflation of African American male serial killers in recent years?
