Students conduct a literature search for information to develop a self-selected
thesis/topic on a current health care issue and its impact on the Canadian health care
system. Any topic is acceptable if it is related to a current Canadian health issue
(within the last 5 years). Topics must be specific. For example, students may not write about “heart disease”, but may write about a new theory on heart disease, such as the role of inflammation. Another example would be writing about increased funding for public health programs and services, but not “health care reform”.
Your submission will be evaluated based on the rubric provided and the attached sample AB. You may wish to receive feedback from the instructor on your chosen topic, prior to commencing your literature review and writing. See the topic approval/feedback assignment for such feedback.
