FOR LAB EXPERIMENT 6:
Create the Lineweaver-Burk graphs by plotting rate vs. [S] and 1/rate vs. 1/[S], respectively. You will calculate Km and Vmax for the reaction without inhibitor and calculate by what factor Vmax is changed in the presence of a noncompetitive inhibitor. From your Lineweaver-Burk plot, you can determine Km and Vmax from your “x”- and “y”- intercepts
