1. Individual Practice Improvement Topic and Matrix: Develop PICO question and Complete an Internet Database Search Matrix (15% of grade)
Each student will choose a problem or issue important in their practice area which they would like to see improved or learn more about. The purpose of the assignment is to demonstrate the ability to develop a PICO question and complete an online literature search on a topic of interest. The student should locate at least five (5) recently published research articles (within the last five years) which address the selected problem or issue. The student will follow the example provided below in the internet database search matrix. This assignment is preparatory work for the group literature review paper and class presentation. Include a minimum of five journal articles, at least three from nursing journals. Follow APA 7th ed. writing guidelines.
