Read Ch. 9 and respond to “A Practice Sequence” on pg. 323, excluding the group work (in 5 paragraph essay format).
Form Guidelines:
All papers must conform to the following guidelines:
➢ All papers must be typed and use normal margins and font no larger than 12.
➢ Papers are due on the dates noted below. Late papers will be penalized 10 points per calendar day.
➢ Papers must be a minimum of 2 full pages in length.
➢ Papers must contain the student’s name and class information.
Process Guidelines:
➢ Optional Rough drafts are due via e-mail Friday Oct. 8, 5:00pm.
➢ Rough drafts are reviewed by Friday Oct. 8. Please note that I am looking for the large issues in your papers such as thesis development, paragraph structure, and the like. While I generally point out mechanical issues such as misspellings, it is your ultimate responsibility to thoroughly revise your paper.
➢ Final Drafts are DUE Wed. Oct. 13.
➢ Grades are posted by Thursday Oct. 14.
