Covid-19 felt like a curse on own family ,of course the whole world struggled an enormous pain because of it , but my story did not end up in death or being effected by the disease itself ,but the result of the lockdown for months .Certainly the lockdown had many benefits to it ,like avoiding transmission of this deadly disease ,but the effects of being isolated for so long caused a dramatic growth of depression numbers .My mom was never a believer of the effect of mental health an how could take a toll on a person so hard ,she always believed that prayer and food on our table could solve any problem we could have and that our generation is spoiled .November the 2nd ,I heard a loud knock on my bedroom door, it was around 12pm ,I opened my door and my mom was setting on the floor holding her left arm and screaming at me to take her to the hospital , I woke my sisters and we went directly to the ER ,few hours later the neurologist came and told us that mom has been taken to the ICU because of brain stroke ,a really bad stroke that will effect the way she talk and walk for the rest of her life, and it all because of stress and anxiety that she refused to believe she had because of Covid-19 , the therapist she canceled on every time we make an appointment with for her .
