While the majority of Americans still believe in drug prohibition (though a majority now support marijuana legalization), some believe it is the war on drugs itself that creates the most crime and suffering. Discuss how you feel about this viewpoint. Discuss your views on the decriminalization of drugs. Could Portugal’s approach work in the United States? Why? Why not?
