2 a seperate assignments
1) Groundwater Concept Sketch You’ve been asked to give a 5-minute presentation to the county commissioners on the two issues involving groundwater and cones of depression. The issues are 1) the danger of wells surrounding urban, agricultural, and other heavy pumping areas going dry and 2) the danger of saltwater intrusion in coastal areas. Both are serious issues in FL. Because you have so little time you need to design a single page handout that will get the main ideas across to the county commissioners. You’ve been given two base drawings (one on this page one on the next) that you may or may not use. If you would like to design your own graphics feel free. Combine these drawings with the information from your book or other sources to make an effective hand out explaining the issues to the county commissioners. Your sketch should also include citations telling the reader where you got your information.
2) Florida has a host of issues relating to water. Do a bit of research, and discuss one of these issues. Include your chosen problem and any contributing factors and possible solutions. Note: While most Discussions only require 100 words for your original post, this Discussion must be at least 300 words for you to receive full credit. Be sure to include a link or reference to your topic of discussion and reply to two of your classmates. Some possible topics include: Ground water depletion Everglades restoration Salt water intrusion Urban runoff Agricultural runoff Ground water contamination.

Using  driving directions  can make traveling more convenient while also saving

Using  driving directions  can make traveling more convenient while also saving time and gasoline. Driving directions can also assist in avoiding traffic jams, road repair, and other inconveniences. However, it is critical to exercise caution and ensure that the driving directions are up-to-date and precise. Driving instructions do not take the place of the driver’s individual discretion and responsibilities on the road.
Driving directions are thus an important tool for trip planning and route selection. Driving directions can help you find the quickest, shortest, or cheapest route to your location. Using driving directions, on the other hand, necessitates map-reading abilities, a sense of direction, and an understanding of traffic laws.
