Learning Goal: I’m working on a film report and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.————————— ——For essays, I think it would be better to narrow the topic a little and think about it in depth.I think it would be good to work in a form that delves a little bit by referring to the parts covered in the class.I think it might be possible to organize existing materials or reorganize familiar contents.I think it would be good if I said, ‘I will put my own perspective, my own thoughts, and my voice in writing’.Of course, in the process of organizing your thoughts (as is the case with thesis), eventually, if you studyThere may be articles already organized that are not my first thoughts. (It may be unreasonable to get there, but…)If I approach it with a slightly original perspective and the attitude of challenging my film analysis work,I wonder if it could be my own writing. (Essay in a style that is close to a thesis / Essay containing my thoughts and arguments)It is meaningful to deal with various things in general, butSince this is an essay of about 3 pages, it would be good if it was an article that thought about and searched a lot on a narrow topic, and organized/analyzed it in its own way. It’s hard to write because I write without fear, but it might be difficult,Basically, I think you can work in the form of ‘holding one’s own voice, thinking deeply and digging into it’~~ Font size – 10 or 11。 Number of lines/page – around 30 lines 。 If you have reference material, it is better to organize it at the end.(The plot is unnecessary or simple / It feels like this in the middle of telling the story of the movie from the beginning, I did not use such shorts!!! / All types of essay submissions are possible ^^The strategy of the Marvel movie, the movie history, an essay about the film director, the reason for the success of the movie? In some cases, such as film analysis, it is also possible to approach it outside of film analysis, and it is possible to submit it, but if you I wonder if it would be good. / or consultation/inquiry, etc. — through Q&A, etc.)

Remember, this is NOT a news story. These are found in the Opinion or Editorial section. You can use the online version of the publication. Things I want you to look for: What is the slant of your paper and how does that show up in the editorial or column you are reading? What words and phrases indicate that this is the opinion of the paper or columnist and not an objective news piece where no opinion is given (or shouldn’t be given). The slant of the paper can even be found in the headline at the top of the piece. Does yours? Do you agree with their ideas or not? Has it changed the way you think about the issue they are talking about? Have they swayed you to their side or did you always think this way? Do they make their point clearly or are they talking in circles? Would you be (more likely/less likely/no change) to read this publication in the future based on their opinion? Finally, how do you feel after reading it?
1.5 pages, double-spaced, 10 pt. normal font, NO spaces between paragraphs. No citations other than indicating what website you used, at the end of the piece. Next FRIDAY,  Oct. 1, (4 p.m.)

For the Final Project, you will do research on a topic related to Propaganda and Animation. You can choose any topic that falls in this category, however, it is important that your topic addresses a specific research question.
Your research question will guide your research, and your essay should be an effort to respond to this question. Your research question should be specific and allow you to complete an original research essay.
IMPORTANT: Your question should not be too general (for example: “what films did Warner Brothers make during the war?” or “What propaganda films feature Donald Duck?”) but very specific (for example “How are women represented in the SNAFU cartoon series?” or “Given all the Disney characters available, why is mostly Donald Duck that is featured in propaganda animated films during WWII?”
Note that your essay (written or video) should include a close analysis of at least 1 or 2 scenes/sequences from 1 or 2 short propaganda films.

In no less than five pages, discuss representation of black female sexuality in relation
to three different black female characters from three different shows viewed this
semester (including those viewed before the midterm). In your analysis, discuss any
progress or notable changes across those representations as well as any further
progress you believe is needed. You may also discuss this topic in contrast to
representation of non-minority female characters on family sitcoms within the time
period of the shows you are choosing. How are they different? How are they the
same? What messages are the differing shows conveying about the notion of
“family” in relation to race? | TIMES NEW ROMAN 12PT , DOUBLE SPACED, MLA
FORMAT, MLA HEADER, TITLE, BIBLIOGRAPHY (not included in page count).

Think about the times, the places and the music featured in the 13 films we have watched over the course of the term. Discuss the influence you believe the eras and locations depicted in the films had on the different characters’ attitudes and actions towards each other, as well as the world around them. Discuss some of the themes that seemed to recur in the films, and explore how the expression of those themes change from era to era. And, finally, how did the music and songs used in the films reinforce and/or inform those themes?
