This week, you will create an asynchronous training video through a narrated presentation. You will act as the most senior leader in the Student Services Department at Anytown University, who has been asked to prepare an extensive training session where you explain barriers to student learning. The training video (as a narrated presentation) will address evidence-based ways in which Student Services professionals support students in the following areas of: Pre-College Academic Preparation Family Expectations and Self-Efficacy College Climate Financial Academic Experience College Navigation To create your narrated presentation, compose a slide presentation and a script. Next, use the multimedia tool available in this week’s resources and your script to narrate the audio for your presentation. You may use as many slides as you need. Be sure to time yourself reading the script before you record to ensure your audio fits within the 8-10 minute range. You may want to practice several times.
