The 2008 Davis Moot Court video provides an introduction to the method and manner by which constitutional cases are presented to judicial panels, including the Supreme Court. The proper method and manner in which cases are presented to the U.S. Supreme Court becomes vital to the rights and freedoms we cherish as a nation.
In a 1-2 page essay, discuss the process in which attorneys present their cases in front of the U.S Supreme Court.
Responses to essay questions should be 1-2 pages, using the APA format. If you want a higher grade, deeper research from credible, scholarly sources and longer essays with quality analysis and conclusions are needed. Your essay should include concepts from this week’s chapter and information from the above video or article.
Points will be deducted for failure to follow APA formatting guidelines or repeated use of improper formatting, misspelled words, and poor grammar. Remember that in each Module, you are to supply a minimum of two outside reference sources besides the textbook, and provided material. Academic journals from the LIRN portal are preferred.
All essays should have 1″ margins with 12pt. Times New Roman font. Failure to follow the above guidelines will result in a lower grade. For more information regarding APA, click here.

The importance of community engagement in effective policing first came to the forefront in the 1980s with the advent of community-oriented policing. Since then, community engagement and cooperation has become increasingly important and law enforcement agencies are using a multitude of innovative programs to engage with their communities.
For this Assignment, you will create a Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation on community engagement. In your presentation, address the following:
-Why community relationships are imperative to effective policing.
-How administration of a criminal justice organization is made easier with positive community partnerships.
-Through research, outline four current community relations programs being used by law enforcement organizations today. For each program, cover the following:
*Summarize the program.
*Explain how the program improves police-community relations
*Discuss any measures of success you are able find for the program.
*Prepare your presentation as though you were going to present it in front of a group. Refrain from excessive amounts of words on each slide. Use concise, bulleted lines and utilize the notes section below each slide for additional details you would discuss in your presentation but may not be required on the slide itself.
*In addition to fulfilling the specifics of the Assignment, a successful presentation must also meet the following criteria.
-Length should be 16–18 slides, excluding title slide and references slide.
-Include a title slide with full name, class name, section number, and date.
-Use examples to support your discussion.
-Cite all sources on a separate reference slide at the end of your presentation and cited within the body of the presentation using APA style.
PowerPoint Formatting Directions:
Use one basic slide design and layout.
Limit slides to between 6 and 8 lines of content.
You may use pictures, charts, and graphs to supplement your material as long as they do not take up the entire slide.
Use bullets for your main points.
Use speaker notes to explain what is being discussed in the bullet points as though you are presenting to an audience.
To learn more about using speaker notes, open PowerPoint and press F1. In the search box, type “create notes” and press Enter. The related topics on notes appear.
The presentation should contain a cover slide and a list of references in APA style.

Part A – Areas of Vulnerability
Assess the Zazi plot in terms of aviation security, border security, and soft targets. Answer the questions below by focusing on the following chapters in the Forest textbook: Joshua Sinai, p. 116; K. Jack Riley, p. 149; and James Robbins, p. 159. In addition, refer to the Congressional Research Service (CRS) report by Marc Rosenblum, et al., assigned for Week 4.
First, consider post-9/11 enhancements to aviation security, and whether those are relevant to the Zazi plot. Why or why not? Did Zazi and his co-conspirators raise any red flags during air passenger screening? Should they have raised suspicions? Review Table 1, describing selected border threats, on page 26 of the CRS report by Marc Rosenblum and colleagues. Did Zazi and his co-conspirators fit into one of the threat scenarios listed in the table? Could improved border security have helped authorities detect this type of plot?
Finally, what factors likely contributed to the choice of targets by Zazi and his accomplices? What is the feasibility of “hardening” these targets? Refer to the Robbins chapter for a discussion of target types, selection, and consequences.
Part B – Response and Resilience
Refer to the textbook chapter by Joshua Sinai and Part 2 of the ABC video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aosfqxFEc6E&feature=emb_imp_woyt
Describe the strategies authorities used to investigate and foil the attacks planned by Zazi and his accomplices. Describe the roles of specific government and law enforcement agencies and organizations in activities such as surveillance and interrogation. How were information and responsibilities shared? What approaches by authorities were most successful, and why?
This assignment should: be submitted as a Word attachment; use 11 or 12-point font; and contain up to 750 words. Due by the end of Week 5
I am unable to provide the textbook pages unfortunately so please use internet sources and the ABC video mainly and just make it as well written as possible. I have attached the link to the video as well as uploaded assignment one which has some information you can use as well. I also attached the original paper done by a different writer on which I got a failing grade on. So this is a redo and I need a better grade than what I originally got. Thank you in advance, and let me know if you need anything else
