Geneva New York is a small town where I am from in upstate New Y‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ork in Ontario County between Rochester and Syracuse . It is a small winery and college town. Mainly known for being a lakefront town with tons of pizzerias like cams and marks pizzeria and wineries like Ventosa vineyards and Belhurst castle winery. It is also home to Hobart William smith college. We get most of are tourism from older crowds coming into town visiting the many different wineries and breweries and Geneva’s beautiful lakefront activities. The other half of tourism we get is from perspective-parents and students visiting Hobart William smith college. A private college with great academic opportunity. Students from all over come to go to school there. When you step foot in Geneva you can sense it’s sense of place in its downtown area, which is the heart of the town , filled with family own stores and restaurants, and location to are pizzerias. When you come downtown you can grab a bite to eat , go ice skating and more. Downtown Geneva is also where the town host annual events like their June carnival on the lake , and end of summer annual downtown car show called “Cruisin Night” filled with different food trucks stands and vi‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ntage cars.
