Distinguish leadership from management, i.e., what is management and what are the levels of management in a police department? Explain why evidence-based policing is important. Provide an example of evidence-based policing. According to the textbook, the backbone of any police department is patrol. Patrol officers answer calls for service and respond to and prevent crime. Smaller departments may have no specialized units or only a few. How would you determine if a department needs to form a specialized unit? Note: You could also apply this to specialized courts or other aspects of the legal system besides law enforcement. Police departments, and other organizations in the criminal justice system, have a system of policies and procedures. In your opinion, what are some of the areas that you think are most important for these regulations to cover? Guidelines For full credit, you must demonstrate a clear understanding of the readings and course concepts. Your response should be analytical, rather than merely descriptive. Meaning, that I would like you to contribute new information from your own analysis of the readings. b. How have they challenged and confronted you? (write this from the perspective of a woman who was grown up in a community where there is a lot of toxic masculinity and where woman are always told to be housewives).
c. How have they opened your eyes and expanded your perspective?
d. How do these selections challenge and confront the larger culture?
e. How do they offer the larger culture new ways of thinking, seeing, being and doing?
f. . How does the reading selection in Nasty Women connect or contradict with the 850 word discussion on Goddess and Roots of Feminist Spirituality that you wrote for me last time we worked together ? Be specific and support your statements with references to the reading selections of your choice.

For this assignment, you will act as the Vice President of Organizational Development for Widget’s R’ Us. Widgets R’ Us is a retail company located in Oklahoma City for the past 30 years. Widgets R’ Us is a brick-and-mortar retailer with 30 stores located across the United States. The store provides practical solutions for businesses, industries, and individuals. While the retail store has done well for three decades, the decision to increase its online presence has boosted demand. To meet retail demand, the company has decided to introduce robotics to its warehouse to meet fulfillment needs. The warehouse will begin immediately outfitting the facility with high-tech sorting and delivery robots. While the company had ensured the workforce that no employees would lose their jobs as a result of this organizational change, the mention of robotics had caused some pushback and resistance among warehouse employees. As V.P. of Organizational Development the CEO of Widget’s R’ Us had asked you to develop a strategic plan to drive successful dialogue for planned organizational change. After reading the assigned resources, write a 3-to-4 page strategic plan paper (not including title page and reference page).
