Research and analysis paper on first-generation latino transfer students from a community college to a four-year university in the United States. Identify developmental characteristics of this population, and identify 3 theories that would assist educators in working with this population. Provide specific examples of practical application of each theory to use for this population. Ex: create a freshman seminar, create a new clubs/organizations, new university policies.
This week, you will construct an e-learning scenario that will serve as the context for your work throughout the course. You may use an authentic scenario from your current or future personal or professional life. You can also construct a completely fictional scenario. Whatever the source of your scenario, the key is to describe the scenario with as much detail as possible. The one exception is to use pseudonyms (pretend names) for any actual organizations or individuals in order to protect their privacy.
In your assignment, be sure to:
Offer a title for your e-Learning scenario (e.g., “Teaching Stage 1 of Understanding by Design to New Teachers” or “Onboarding for Rural PRN Nurses”).
Describe the organizational context for the e-Learning scenario (e.g., corporate Learning & Development department, urban school district).
Identify the individuals and groups who play a role in your e-Learning scenario, including any concerns or opportunities related to diversity, equity, or inclusion.
Explain the learning problem with significant details; what is the identified gap in knowledge or skills? For this course, you will need to focus on a narrow part of the learning need. Contact your professor for help if you aren’t sure whether your learning need is narrow enough.
Ensure that your learning problem allows for an e-learning solution.
Discuss why you think the narrow learning gap on which you will focus calls for a teacher-centered or student-centered approach.
Add details that make your scenario an interesting story.
Length: 4-6 pages, excluding title and reference pages
References: Include a minimum of one scholarly source, cited and referenced in APA style.
1) “In American society, the sense of self is predicated on issues of separation, and leaving home,” (22). In what cultural context does “coming out” and “being in the closet” make sense and when does it not make sense? How does acceptance and acquiescence apply in the context of being gay and/or Bakla? 2) How does masculinity and femininity influence how “gay identity” is understood?
Adulthood—Then and Now
The adulthood reflection is meant to be a comparison between adulthood and childhood. Here are some parameters to keep in mind for the reflection:
First, you should pick three areas of focus–one related to each of the domains. For example, “health” is an area of focus that relates to the biosocial domain and there are relevant milestones in both emerging adulthood and adulthood that relate to health. “Sex/reproduction” is another area related to biosocial development. “Scheduling” or “work” is an area that has relevant milestones in both emerging adulthood and adulthood cognitive chapters. “Relationships”, “parenting”, or even discussing the current pandemic is an area related to psychosocial development. The area of focus will be particular to your individual experience.
I want to carefully stress that I RECOGNIZE that sometimes something is too personal. If it’s too personal to discuss ANY issue, feel free to select something else. I am in no way forcing you to disclose anything that you don’t want to disclose.
Next, you will compare and contrast milestones in each area–this is your then/now discussion. If you are an adult, you will talk about the milestones you are experiencing NOW in each domain and related to the area you have chosen, then compare them to milestones you experienced THEN (in childhood/adolsecence). For example, if you choose the area of “sex/reproduction”, you might discuss milestones related to menopause and/or fertility in adulthood, then compare them with milestones related to sexual activity and related aspects of desire and fertility from the emerging adulthood chapter. You would do this for each domain.
If you are age 25 or younger, you should consider yourself an emerging adult for the purposes of this assignment, and project yourself from 10-12 years into your future. Be realistic and base this on the habits and experiences you are having at the moment. For example, if you choose the area of “health” and you talk about biosocial milestones related to good health and strength, then your expected adulthood milestones will be different than those of an emerging adult who is discussing poor health habits they may be practicing.
Keeping all guidelines in mind, for this reflection you will actually have at least two milestones from each domain–at least one from each childhood/adolescent domain, and at least one from each adulthood domain. So, at least six milestones in total.
Please see the attachment in the upload for requirements to the assignment. This is a 2 PART assignment. One part is a Powerpoint Presentation and the other is a visual arts graphic design. Please take a careful look at the instructions to make sure that you have covered everything needed.

Introduction and Alignment
This week, you will bring your research project directly to bear on the course, and consequently this is where the coursework becomes a bit more complex. For your report, you will consider your research in its historic context viewed through social and political lenses. This means that you will need to do two things that you might not have done yet: (a) connect your research problem to its history, and (b) consider specifically the social and political elements of that history.
As you engage your readings this week, keep in mind that you are looking beyond the immediate circumstance of your research problem to connect it to its social and political dimensions, which are grounded in a specific historic context.
The report will be a 5-8 pages long historic exploration of your research problem as viewed through a social and political lens (see example above). Please complete this project after completing the readings. It is recommended that you complete the discussion forum first, as this will help you clarify your ideas about your research before beginning the report. For assignment specifics, see below.
Upon completion of this assignment, you should be able to:
Elucidate the major theories, research methods and approaches to inquiry and/or schools of practice in his or her field; articulate their sources; and illustrate both their applications and their relationships to allied fields and assesses the contributions of major figures (and/or organizations, if applicable) in his or her field, describe the major methodologies and/or practices in his or her field; and implement at least two of them through projects, papers, exhibits or performances. Articulate how his or her own field has developed in relation to other major domains of inquiry and/or practice.
I have attached my research problem and a short report of problem’s background. This is not a rewrite of what I already have written but an expansion and analysis of the background history social and political elements of that history for my research problem.

There are 8 key areas she suggests you should cover. It is helpful for my grading if you clearly identify the 8 components. You could do it with bold type or by writing a paragraph about each and labeling it at the beginning.
Be sure to personalize this and use grammar and punctuation that shows your best professional ability. This is due near the end of the course after you have read the book and studied the various programs for a reason. You should include ideas you have learned in this course. Referring by name to aspects of the approaches that you liked shows your ability to apply the knowledge you have gained. For example, “I admire the way the Montessori approach teaches…but I would also include …from the Head Start approach…. because….” (use the reflect and critiques to provide examples. Reflect and Critique documents are summaries from my last assignments)
