Introduction to Human Services APA Research Paper
This assignment allows students to research their choice of career titles to explore the description, education, and salary of a field in which they are interested.
This paper should follow APA publication guidelines and should be at least three (3) to five (5) typed, double‑spaced pages. The title page and the reference page do not count toward the total number or pages.
Students should have a minimum of 6 professional sources. No more than three of them can be internet/ on-line sources.
The total paper should include 3 full pages of the the text body of the paper, a title page, Abstract, and reference page.
Title page Page 1
This page includes the page header, running head, title, student name, and college name.
Abstract Page 2
This is a brief summary of the paper normally one paragraph (no less than 5 sentences).
Text body Pages 3-5
This portion:
1. Introduces the subject*
2. Provides a detailed job description (what do they do?) and reported
salary
3. Identifies educational requirements
4. Discusses certification or licensure levels or requirements
5. Evaluates future of the profession
6. Concludes the paper and includes how you see yourself fitting into
this field*
(*please note that section 1 and 6 are the only portions written in 1st person, the rest of the paper is research information… it is not interactive.)

All sources that you got information from will be listed here. They are listed alphabetically by author’s last name. The second line of the reference is indented, and all must follow the APA guidelines. This assignment will be graded according to the instructor’s guidelines.
