Position paper “Do you agree with Katz& Mair’s so-called “cartel party” theory in contemporary politics?
Please submit your position papers dedicated to the suggestion of so-called “cartel party theory” of Katz & Mair in “Changing Models of Party Organization and party Democracy: the emergence of cartel party”, Party Politics , Vol. 1. No. 1, pp-5 – 31 (1995), regarding the proposition that modern parties actually disengage from the voters due to their dependence on state subsidies and support.
