After reading the Unit IV Required Unit Resources, create a PowerPoint presentation that includes the components listed below:
title slide (one slide),
content slides (10 slides minimum),
summary slide (one slide), and
references slide (one slide in APA Style).
The content slides will present the main ideas in bullet format, and the discussion will be placed in the Notes section. Add speaker notes to support your bullet points.
You are the lead for the Incident Command System (ICS) Investigations and Intelligence (I/I) Group during an incident/disaster. The I/I is conducting the investigation pertaining to a recent event that has taken place within your community (e.g., terrorist event, tornado, hurricane). Currently, there is a discussion surrounding a need for preventing and discouraging additional activities related to the disaster, thwarting any further attacks or issues regarding mass fatalities associated with this event, and sharing the information gathered with victims’ families.
Your assignment is to allow the appropriate amount of information to be disseminated to the public, press, and the families without compromising the integrity of the mission in the group. The presentation will include the components listed below.
Define an ICS I/I group/section of your choice (e.g., Investigative Group, Forensic Group, Mass Fatality Management Group).
What are the goals and objectives for the group of your choice?
What type of information should be gathered in order to complete your report/investigation?
Who will be in charge of implementing the group, why, and how long during the operation?
Discuss how I/I reports can support the emergency operations center (EOC) and the incident commander.
How can the group make a positive social change within the community pertaining to an event? What future measures should be initiated in the planning and mitigation phases?
Your presentation should be at least 13 slides in length. You must reference the eTextbook and at least one other academic or reliable source. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment.
